Espresso martini

Legend has it that in the late 80s a supermodel asked Dick Bradsel for a drink that would “wake me up and then f**k me up”. When I was fresh out of college Shoreditch was the hot spot in london. A stone-throw away from our office it was a mix of stray needles, graffities and impossibly swank venues fueled by the excesses of finance gone wild. We used to go to Callooh Callay where I got addicted to espresso martinis. Charlotte voisey (proper pour) makes great use of frangelico to give us a less lethal version:

1 oz Stoli Vanilla
1 oz Frangelico
1 oz cold espresso
.5 oz Half and Half
.25 oz simple syrup
